We'z ain't gotz noo neu karz outt inn Kintuuckee.

Seriously man... it seems like every other car is like that down here in Cerritos.

I'm actually heading back to Louisville tomorrow and then back to Missouri on Monday -- lucky me -- so, I won't be around... sorry man... would've loved to have met up and grabbed a frosty one.

I'm hoping you meant that in good humour...I passed through Mississippi once and...well no, I'll behave. Funny thing is me and RockPick understand each other and YOU GUYS TALK FUNNY

Quoted from TXF150
When I was over there, I had mine off, and 35% tint on mywindshield, and never had a problem... Maybe im just lucky...

Can't give you a ticket for no front plate if your registered out of state and just passin through...I think, either they can't or I've been darn lucky, Virginia cops are ticket ******.

we don't use/have front plates in ALABAMA y'all. in fact none of our 35 trucks came with the bumper punched/drilled for a front plate.

use to love trips to houston texas and be stopped at a road block by the texas state troopers ane asked " Boy, where the #$^@ is you front plate?, I loved their expression when they found the truck was from Alabama, they thought they had a chance to write a ticket, but were foiled. I loved the way they would look for a defect to write a ticket. they would walk arround the truck and check the ****ion of everything. of course our maintenance on everything kept us straight.

Of course that was 25 years ago, haven't been back since

I've seen this to be true on everything from Fords to Bentleys... what's the deal with that here?
lol...a co-worker of mine kept his dealer plates on for 4 years...YES FOUR YEARS before he was forced to get plates. He was sent the wrong ones in the mail from the DMV so he said "F" that..and never got the right ones.

Yes the DPS troopers around Houston can be ******.

Not too long ago while traveling on FM 242, I passed a trooper head on. He flipped on his rollers, hit the brakes, and turned around. I pulled onto the sholder and he approached the truck. After the typical DPS greeting (Good evening sir, may I see your license and insurance) he informed me that the FRAME on my front plate was in violation of Section 502.409(a) of the transportation Code. After running my license he returns and breaks out his ticket book. He then goes on to say that the fine for this violation is $200.00 and gives me the option to remove the frame. Thank goodness that I had a slotted screwdriver in the glovebox.

My truck didn't even come with the front plate braket so i didn't have to remove the dealer plate I like the clean look without the front plate braket on the truck.
