anybody on here have this lift? I did a search and all I came up with a couple of pictures from 05FTX, but he doesnt ever post anymore.

 

I dont have it but I know a friend who does and he swears by it. The ride is so cush and nice. Very well put together kit.

oh and i hear the CST kit is nice but also hear it isnt that great unless you put aftermarket coilovers up front, otherwise your stuck with spacers on your truck.

The CST kits are very well built, and very well designed I have driven in a 2005 with a cst 8" on it, and it rides awesome...

Deffenetly woth the money.. IMO

CST kits are built to the highest tolerances, ride reassuringly well and handle great on the road. they are built to take an extreme lickin offroad, and the 04+ kit comes with revamped invincible steering

i only have hte basic 97-03 kit for my 2000 and i still get air with it. of course i upgraded to the fox 2.0's though

 

Can we see this "revamped" invincible steering. You sound like a salesmen always preaching the CST word. My steering rack has snapped in half from wheeling with this fabtech, but the kit has held together great. Would have liked a better mounting system for the steering rack and would like to see CST's.

 

IIRC, it was a 2006 FX4. The white one with the Banks kit, correct? Yeah, it was an '06.

 

alright well I am debating on getting either the cst, fabtech or skyjacker lift. I will probably try to hit just about every mud hole I see so I want something thats gonna hold up pretty well. in that case do you all think the fabtech or skyjacker kits will do the trick for me or should I drop the extra cash and go with the cst?

I'd like to get the 36x15.50 mickey thompsons that trooks has on his truck and 20x10 mazzi hulks. will a 6" lift clear that set up?

 

With the 15.50 wide I ended up havin to add the spacer to get 8.5" to not rub at all. With just 6" you will have some rubbin with that tire/wheel combo.

 

cst is waaaay overated and over priced !
