cst is a well built kit but i have talked to shops that installed the cst and the rize and the rize is better built nicer and now cheaper the money they want is crazy.

well i say it because cst is as good as fabtech, pro comp and rancho, there is nothing special to there kits and are well built but so are most of the other llift kits avalible for our trucks, the cst is roughly $3000 and that doesn't have coilovers, for less than $3000 u can get the rize kit, fabtech with coilovers or pro comp with coilovers, i just think its way over priced for what it is and that there are many other options better.

I think they are all equally cabable plus who is gonna really gonna off road there brand new truck with these expensive lift kits, big 20 inch wheels and even the tires are expensive ? as long as my lift kit rides good on the street and i have the option of good off roading then i'm happy

CST uses a uniballl, no? And from what I understand the metal used is stronger and they have better engineered steering knuckles. Drop down bracket style lifts are really not meant for heavy offroading anyway. But having had lifted vehicles in the past, a uniball a-arm suspension rides far better on and off the road. Plus it will save you in money in the long haul and keep the tire wear more true.

I could be wrong but I believe CST, Total Chaos, and maybe Camburg are the only manufacturers that offer after market upper arms. In that case stock arms would be used with the other lifts which are not meant to be used with a cradle lift.

What you will really notice from a uniball upper arm is a more cushy ride over road imperfections due to the more efficient suspension travel especially during a pivet. You can also really crank up your coilovers with this system if you want to maximize your lift.

If I decide to keep my truck and bag it I will purchase Total Chaos arms to relieve stress up front.

CST is expensive but it is apples and oranges with most other lifts.

You can see for yourself where the extra expense comes from. You can always add upper arms to a kit but then you will soon realize that the CST lift really isn't all that expensive. Might as well do it right the first time.

Exactly

Also, look at the cst crossmembers, they much sturdier than the rize ones.. Again IMO the CST kit is a very high quality kit...
