Hyperactive blinker problem...

I posted this before but I am curious on if this has happend to anyone else? When I turn on my left blinker it blinks really fast and I hear a buzzing sound coming from my dash area everytime it blinks. But when I put on my right blinker everything is cool. And when I put my hazards on everything blinks good. Anyone know what this could be? I do have APC led tails but they have built in resistors in them. I am confused!!

Have you check your front and rear turn signals? Thats how you know one's out. They blink fast.

I just fixed mine. It had been doing it for a while. My brake light on my left side burnt out..

The fast blinking is its way of letting you know one of the blubs on the left side of the truck is burnt out..

Even though you have the LED's with resistors, one could be bad, or have a bad ground.....have you tried swapping from left to right and see what happens???....just a suggestion....don't want to question your intelligence...

I had the same exact problem back about a year ago. I finally took it in to the Dealer. Turned out to be a bad Turn signal switch assembly. They swapped it out and I had no further problems with it.

My guess would be either a bad multifunction switch, but since there is a buzzing noise from under the dash that leads me to believe it is the flasher it's a little round silver part that is under the dash it has 3 square prongs. Usually when you get the buzzing it means a bad flasher, it may not be, but it's a cheap and easy place to start. And i'm all about working smarter not harder lol

Well it was my LEd taillight. I had put in my stockers to take it to the dealer. And for kicks I tried the blinker and it worked great! So yea, APC lights suck.

Yeah, I said this once before in your last post. When I put in my LED's and before I put the resistors in, I tried the signal and it would BUZZ and blink really fast. I believe I suspected the APC tails last time for a faulty resistor...Glad you got it fixed!

Yea. Now I think the LED turn signals up front will now look out of place. Hopefully Duke will get a nice set of LED's made and ill purchase some!
