Yeah, they have been around for Years now.

My brother used to have one on his Mustang a few years back

I think they look cool, but be careful....if you catch a cop on the wrong day, he could potentially give you a ticket for immitating a police officer since you have a blue light on your truck. Its a far cry, but its a possibility.

I highly doubt that would happen. If it was strobed then they would pull you over in a instant but I really dont think a cop would pull you over and say 'Sir, your blue ford logo is very cop like. Im gonna have to put you under arrest for impersonatiing a officer.'

actually they can, will, have, and still do pull people over with blue lights (red up front) in fact I received a citation once for this exact infraction. blue neon undebody + red light up dice + red turn signals + one wannabe bad *** pig = fix it ticket.

The issue is black and white. It is illegal to have a blue light on the front of a motor vehicle that is not a police car with an authorized person behind the wheel.

What about all those ricers who have the blue wiper squirter lights? Seems like all ricers should be ticketed anyway.

Saw this topic posted a year or two ago. Actually saw a 97-03 body style F-150 in north Austin last week with these. I don't think they're available for our larger oval size emblem though.

i had one on my 97 ranger I got pulled once, just had to turn it off..... I would get one for my 150 but the one they make is 2" short, it would be nice if they made one 9 inches to fit the 04+
