New design F150 for 2008?

Is there a newly designed F-150 coming out in the 2008 model year? Ford said that by 2008 they were reducing the average age of its vehicle fleet from 4.4 years to 3.2 years. So this may mean a new F150 in '08. Any info?

If its not ugly, i will own one! 60 mpg, that would leave me more money for some mods!

I would trade up in a heartbeat. I don't care if it was slow as hell, as long as it was 4wd I'd have mine. It would of course need the luxury Lariat interior as well. This just seems like another concept vehicle that never gets brought into production. Then again the hybrids are already out, so who knows. I am a little skeptical and would gladly be put to shame.

I'd be all for that. Do a google search, seems to be plenty of articles on it.

I wish they'd keep us a little more informed with a special forum for this f-150. I'd love to read about what they've done with the truck as of now, and see how many problems they have left to fix. I'm a little too anxious to wait until 2008. Maybe you Ford leakers out there can help us out. Who works with this truck as their job...come on now.

For the record, the article said it was scheduled to be released August '08, which would make it a '09 model. But as we have all seen, it will probably be a couple years after that anyways. But awesome technology nonetheless! How cool would it be to get GREAT gas mileage but not have to drive a tree huggin' Prius?

Great idea and good to see an 09+ model year. I'll have my 04 paid off by then and will be ready to trade up for an 10 or 11. Im a bit skeptical about buying a first year model with that much of a changeover. Thats alot of new technology to work bugs out of..

That's been out for a while. I'll believe it when I see it.

I hope it happens though. I could go back to a truck as my every day driver instead of having a beater to drive to work with a nice truck sitting in the garage.
