Would this be bad for a 4x4 emblem?

I was looking on ebay for 4x4 emblem and found the old f150 4x4 tailgate emblem. They are pretty inexpensive as well... What do ya'll think?? I haven't purchased it yet, gonna try to photoshop it before I do...

It looks aaaight and it's cheaper than the RP mod.
I went with the RockPick Mod(the 07 Exlporer SportTrac 4x4 emblem) on the right side of the tailgate. The thing I like about the RP Mod is the SportTrac 4x4 emblem looks similar to the 4x4 decals on the sides of my bed.

Yeah I like the newer emblem much better too, but can seem to talk myself into that much money for it... I am thinking if I get a 4x4 tailgate badge, then I would do away with the side decals.

It looks cool, but from the picture it appears that it needs to be re-chromed or something. I wouldn't want to put an emblem that looks like it was 30 years old on a brand new truck.

. . isn't the Sport Trac 4x4 emblem only like $14?

It cost me $21 at the local stealership, they charge list price for everything. I could have got one cheaper online but would have to pay shipping charges or I could have spent $10 in gas to get one cheaper at a different dealership.

I honestly thought they were more than that. If that's the case I will order one from my dealership... Thanks again!

The Sport Trac badge cost me $12 and some change after tax at the local dealership... no shipping..

They quoted me list price and I told them I would just buy it on the net, so they sold it to me at cost.
