LED tails?

Its been like 4 months...is there any stock looking LED taillights out yet? Anyone done a conversion? I like my APC's but the "style lump" sucks. I wish they made a harley davidson LED taillight!

I'm pretty sure Stylin Concepts sells an OE looking LED taillight set... I think they're like $275 though

I think those are the APC's i already have. They have a style bump on them which makes them ugly!

What do you mean by a "bump?" Does it change the shape on the rear side or the side?

Yea, I have those LED's on my truck. You can see the style bump right below the backup lights. I cant wait until they make real aftermarket LED tails for our truck.

That "bump" looks really small in the pics, does it really stand out that much when it's on the truck?

Yeah my local dealer brought them in for me, and even he said they looked like crap. If it wasnt for the cancer bump, they might have been okay.

wow ive never noticed that bump before on those....but if your looking for as stock as possible looking why not drill a bunch of holes in your stock tails and put in a bunch of led's? then use niteshades to tint the lens and that would be SICK

HEy all, well like I said, I would post what I had in my book

There are new bulbs called Spider Lite - Expanding LED replacement bulbs. Most LED replacement bulbs only have a few bulbs close together. These have a 5-Star pattern that closes like an umbrella to fit through the hole, but the expand open, to about 2 or 3 inches across. I could not find them on the web, but they are in my Keystone automotive supply catalog.

Hope I didnt get your hopes up, I thought there were new companies out this year..

I stand corrected. I did find the website. The bulbs for our trucks were 45 bucks a piece.. Anyone want to be the test dummy??
