Oh well, not all is lost...When you get over there just pick up a late-model Nissan Skyline.. I think I could get used to a twin turbo...Or maybe even a Toyota Supra?? They are both very rare over here, but I bet it would help pass the time!

I heard about the Skylines. However, it's like pulling teeth to get one since EVERY American over there plsu the locals are searching for them. I will most likley have a little sled over there to have fun in.

I normally dont have a slow vehicle for very long. I always end up doing something to them.

I pulled orders for Hohenfels, Germany in the early '90s. I was able to pick up a BMW 528i real cheap because another service member didn't realize that she couldn't bring it back to the states without extensive modifications. It was only about 2 years old when I bought it and still almost new condition. I drove it for 3 years and then sold it for the same price that I paid for it.

While I was stationed overseas I had my boat put into long-term storage. I had it professionally conditioned before putting it into storage and when I returned to the states it was waiting on me. We used it the second weekend that I was back and it worked flawlessly. My shipped household goods were a different story (stuff stolen and broken ) You have to watch the packers very carefully.
