I know most of the 4X4's and lifted trucks on this site are pavement pounders, but if you're into offroading and going up hills then you're nice shiny tips are going to get flattened between the ground and the bumper.

For aesthetic reasons I like side exit.
For offroad function I like side exit.
For bouncing the exhaust off walls and the cars next to you to scare them side exit is also better.
I think Orlando has some of the best tips I've ever seen, but they'd be crushed like Baja mentions above. My departure angle as is, is bad enough. The tires are pretty far from the back bumper. My trailer electrical plugin has bent itself. Here is a pic from my last setup out the rear.


Sounds good thump, get a flyby outside the truck and punch it near the camera going around 25-30mph. I'd like to hear that from a spectators view.
