What do you think?

Im getting my exhaust done tomorrow, hopefully. Depending on what time the shop opens up at since I have a final tomorrow. My girlfriend's brother works there so Im getting a really good deal. Im going to just do true duals into two Flowmaster 40s, straight out the back. Now, should I get rolled edge tips or slanted rolled tips? Chrome or stainless? Thanks!

I'd go with stainless rolled tips. I really like that look. But since your truck is black the chrome might look a little better.

I'd get chrome. I can't keep my stainless shiny for a day. They go hazy very quickly!

Chrome is ok straight out the back, but it's a PITA behind the rear wheels because it's like the rear tires sandblast the tips.On my last truck I used to replace my chrome tips yearly. When I get my exhaust on my new truck I think I'm gonna go straight out the back this time.

I like the slanted tips myself out the sides. Rear is cool...less restrictive I guess for performance?!?!

Definitely stainless, chrome is less expensive for a reason, they rust within two years. 45 degree slash cut out the rear corners, just like your last truck. The only other way I'd do it would be both tips on one side, similar to the Harley trucks, or side exit like the lightnings.

Have you ever seen how gay that looks on a stock truck? No way, its gross. Side exit is pretty cool but its more a street look. I think straight out the back is going to look a little more sleek and thats what Im going for. .

i got chrome straight out the back and in my opinion when they showed me how the 45 degree slash cut would look it looked like *** along with most of the guys at the shop

I'd go with stainless 45 degree out the sides. I had the straight out of the rear and changed it to the sides. Much nicer look. Also I heard that true duals actually cause a loss of power. I was told by me exhaust guy and I believe him because he lost money by not doing it to my truck. I went with the magnaflow sido. Sounds a hell of a lot better than the flowmaster but might be due to them coming out of the sides. Wow that got long.
