Nihilism,

Where did you get the audio Dimming Compass/Temperature/Uv/Ice Alert Mirror you mention?

Thanks!

EZ Down Tailgate Damper

$50
Audio Dimming Compass/Temperature/Uv/Ice Alert Mirror
Explanation: Not only is this mirror mod is very functional and helpful, but it's also one attractive looking interior mod.

$27
Custom Intro-tech Windshield Sunshade
Explanation: I sometimes have to leave my truck parked at my school's parking lot for several hours while I'm attending classes, so this mod is helpful in keeping my truck a bit cooler on the inside but it also preserves the dash from receiving sun damage. This sunshade is custom fitted for the F150 unlike the "one size fits all" sunshades that are normally sold at most stores.

Who was the guy that did the mod that included replacing the inside supercrew cab back seat passenger light with the front one with the individual map lights?

kd4crs came up with the mod for replacing the superCAB rear light with the supercrew light on the rail systems, if I recall correctly. I did it to mine, it's a great mod, plug and play.

Do you have a link to his mods, I have searched through this thread and can't find it for some reason, or the part number to the rear light setup?

Click photo below, click on mods, click on lighting, click on rear map light. Part number for grey is in there, beige will be similar with different suffix.

I would like to know more about this one also. I'm guessing you mean the turn signals up front behind the amber plastic. Do you just take the plastic out somehow? Do you have to replace the bulb so it will blink amber? Is it legal to not have the amber reflective piece?

One mod that may sound dumb but is very affordable and easy is to make a storage area under the rear seats. For about $10 you can buy a rubbermaid container, any size you want, but preferable about 18" long, 6" high, and 12" wide. You lift the seat up thats the 2 seats, and get 2 pieces of fishing line, attaching one from the top hole at one end of the seat to the top hole at the other using a knot, or i used the clamps that hold line and you close them with pliers, you do this to both the top and bottom hole, and then set your rubbermaid behind it, so it does not slide at all, its a cheap easy mod, and takes about 10 min, and can be removed at any time. Easy way to get the underseat storage for about 1/25 the price. Hope this helps!

Maybe if you have ten inches of lift and big tires, but a stock truck...

I live downtown Chicago in a skyrise right on the lake... I was worried tonight about pulling into my underground parking garage with the new 265/75/16's I put on my truck today. I want to lift her equal to that of a 4x4 with those tires. I think I might scrape. There are a couple of places in major metropolitan areas that I still look at my antenna as a "feeler gage". There are some of us that still use that concept... Like I might be the only one but dammit... One counts! LOL! Imma Dork. I know. I was just trying to be honest yet funny...
