06' Sirius radio

Hey guys, I need a little help here. My 06 has the Sirius setup in it from the factory. I'm upgrading to the Alpine IVA-W200. Heres my questions:

1-- can I use the factory Sirius receiver and hook it up to the Alpine?
-- If so, what cable do I need?

2-- If I can't use it and I get the SiR-ALP1, can I use the stock antenna? Will the ant. connection plug into the ALP1

3-- Does the SiR-ALP1 come with the Ai-net cable to hook it to the head unit or do I have to buy that seperate? ( anyone know the P/N if I need one?)

4-- Is there another option other than the SiR-ALP1?

I searched and searched and didn't come up with any usefull info about this. I also decided to post this here since we all know the audio and Sattelite forums dont get much action.

Thanks for the help guys.

Well I had it open today and the antenna lead is a plug in and the end is green, pretty much like it was on my XM set up in my last truck. So I thin kit might work. I was questioning that part because I called crutchfield for their "expert advice" and the guy told me nothing would work and I had to buy all new stuff that he was trying to sell me.

The receiver has a harness plugged into it. This harness is then wired into the stereo harness. SO I was wondering if there was an aftermarket harness I could plug into the stock Sirius receiver and then connect to the Alpine thru the Ai-NET cable???

I wish I could help you, but all I know is that if I wanted to control my satelite radio with my Pioneer head unit, I would have had to buy a Pioneer reciever. But I didn't have the factory satelite option on my truck. The way the guy at Circuit City explaned it to me was that it could be rigged up to get the audio out of the reciever to the head unit, but he didn't know how to get the head unit to control the reciever, so the options were a Pioneer reciever, or a plug and play. I went with the plug and play.
I hope I didn't confuse you, I think I just confused myself

I just installed my Kenwood KVT915DVD and Kenwood Sirius tuner last week. My stock antenna plug worked with the Kenwood Sirius tuner just fine.

It was a concern of mine also.

The SIRIUS antenna plug that was stock on your truck plugged into your new SIRIUS brainbox?... or are you talking about the AM/FM plug?
