EDGE WOT Shift Points

I have my 1-2 and 2-3 shift points set to 5300rpm, 3-4 @ 4900rpm, and WOT fuel at 1.5..... just wanting to get feedback from others WOT shift settings, i dont want to over rev the motor .......My limiter is either at 5450 or 5500, i cant remember... This is becasue i think it said the rev limiter had to be at least 150 rpm over the highest shift point.....My firmness is set to 5 on 1-2 and 2-3 and 0 on the 3-4 shifts.....BTW i am running level 2 becasue i dont want to pay for high test.....EDGE WITH 4.56 = ....i have mad belt sqeal... gatorback is next....

What kind of 0-60 times were you getting before the 4.56 gears, and now after the 4.56's? I was looking into getting some 4.56 gears also. Those WOT shift points are fine, tahts close to what I have mine set at. I think I actually have mine set to 5250 on 1-2, 2-3 shifts, and 4900 on 3-4 shift, with a Rev set at 5600. I can only imagine your belt squeeling, mine does it with 3.55's.

I dont know my previous 0-60 times, i have a screw with 33's and before with 3.55's it was really bad.... like a big slug...probably 10.5-11.5 seconds to 60...now its 8.9 with the gears, tuner, exhaust, and airaid jr w/ K&N... Its is a huge diffrence.... be careful on the edge 0-60 tho becasue if your speed is not right on at 60 your times are going to be way off...For example i was 3 mph off the first 0-60 run and it said i was running a 10 sec 0-60 when really it was between 8.9 and 9.2, after setting speed by changing tire size using the GPS..... i am not concerned with 0-60 its a heavy truck... i know it hauls tail tho....

NO 5.4 3v..... i just think everyone over exagerates or talks about incorrect 0-60 from there edge....my truck probably at the most has 270RWHP, and in a 6400 lb truck you will not go to 60 in 6.5 seconds..... my old 300zx would hardly get to 60 in 6.5 sec...

I'd say 270rwhp might be right, I am at 270rwhp with my mods. I wonder if he's at a high elevation, thats the only way I can explain his extremely high 0-60's. Thats a huge assumption to make (being everyone is lying about their 0-60's).

I am not saying everone is lying.... but a regualr cab short bed with the same mods, with stock tires is going to be a 2 sec diffrence from a SCEW with heavy off road tires. The 0-60 might range from high 6's to high 8's....BTW what do you think about the WOT shift points hahaha... didnt mean to start anything!

4.56's are great... low end rocks but with the 33's at 75 i am @ 2500 rpm, slightly high....But its a great reason to lift it and go to 35's once these tires are worn out I dont regret geting 4.56's, it is to much money to just get 4.10's unless you are going to run stock or close to stock tire sizes......If i had 3.73's i would have never got gears, was a big mistake to get 3.55's when i bought the truck new.

Well I definately dont have a reason to lie about my 0-60 times, its at 6.8-6.9 all day long. Ad I triple check my gear size and tire size everytime I do a run. Stock was right at 9 seconds though. I think that I would go through a set of tires very 6 months if I had 4.56 gears though. These times are with edge, exhaust, and intake on an 06 xlt 4x4 supercab 5.4.

i think the tires are the real killers.... the extra weight even with 33's is a big deal....yea with your HP figures i am probably around the same, and with the tires and added weight of a screw, my 8's are probably right....

I hardly lost .3 seconds or so off my 0-60 going from 32's to 37's, but I was running around 8's on 32's even with all my mods lately, I hit high 6's at one point before a couple mods, hard to explain but it seems I lost a little power over time. I need to get an edge so I can get accurate means of doing so, but regardless the means I used to time before the 37's was the same as now, and it is not a variable in my times, I could have been running 7.3's and am now running 7.6's, but the difference from going from my 32's to 37's is not a big deal, maybe it is when you're not well modded, I don't know. If you doubt me we'll have some sand drags @ Pismo and everyone can come back and tell you different

I'll take a few members for a ride on the street so they can vouch for me, it's still not slow. The only thing that might be a variable is if Nitto's numbers are wrong and their tire revolutions per mile are off a little, but I doubt thats the case. If it is then I'm reading slower or faster than I'm really going (if anything it's too low of a number so I should be running faster which would equal a quicker 0-60).
