Powder Coated Autospring

I just ordered the 2" autospring and went ahead and paid the $10 extra dollars to have it powder coated gloss black. Has anyone else paid for this option or am I the guniea pig?

I like the look of solid billet spacers/lift/leveling kit. But, gloss black powder coated might not look too bad.

You cant see the spacers anyway since they are tucked up into the spring pocket. The only advantage is that they wont rust if you live somewhere prone to that.

Im almost positive that they come PAINTED black, so hes paying $10 to have them powdercoated. If you plan on keeping your truck for a while, live in an area where rust is common, its not a bad idea for only $10.

I have the daystar, but I would probably pay the extra 10 dollars to powdercoat. Even though the part is not that noticeable, I still like to know that a quality finished part is on the truck.

X2. It can be hard to tell the difference between painted and powdercoated; Until they start to show rust.

On a side note: It's about time AS starting powdercoating them instead of just painting. With all the units he's sold, I'm sure there are quite a few that would've like them powdercoated.

I ordered it powder coated because I saw no reason not to. I would definately be kicking myself if in two years if I looked at my spacers and the paint was chipping or they were rusting just because I didn't want to pay the extra ten bucks. Besides, they are on sale for $89.99 as opposed to $99.99 therefore I am theoretically paying regular price for a better product.

Mine came painted black couple of months ago and I believe they were $99. I don't think spending the extra $10 now would be a waste. Even though I can't see them I'd would have def got the powdercoated due to the winter salt here.
