Exclamation TheAnimal???

hey i have 2 questions for you as your have basically the exact same setup im gettinr ight now. I just bought my Pro Comp 6" with coilovers and rear MX6 reservoirs and buying a 3 inch PA body lift and 38" tires. Someone posted saying when i do all this run my truck to 50-60 MPH in 4 wheel drive and then let off the pedal and if theres a vibration i need to get a double cardon u-joint in my front drive shaft...did you have to do this? ALSO he said run it in 2WD up to 70-80 MPH and let off the pedal and if a vibration i probably need a longer drive shaft.....did you get a longder driveshaft???? i wouldnt think it since the body lift just lifts my body....and doesnt change that geometry...
THANKS

The procomp lift should come with a spacer for the rear driveshaft so you don't have to get a new driveshaft and for the front I know that fabtech sells an aftermarket one, but I not sure if you modify the front driveshaft with the procomp lift like you do with the fabtech. You really don't need to worry about the front driveshaft vibrations unless you are going to extend 4hi high speed driving, ie driving across the desert and so forth. You are right the body lift will not change the geometry of the suspension since it only lifts the body. I would not personally drive over 50 in 4hi, and if you do don't do it on a hard road.

Why would you use 4LO more than 4HI?

Nope, it'd be better to start out in 4HI and use 4LO if it got really bad.

I think they say the highest speed is 55 or 60 mph, something like that.

I've only gone up to about 45 mph in 4HI, personally.

My truck vibrates really bad when I put it in 4 wheel drive at about 10 mph and up . I need to do something with the driveshaft soon. Just dont have the time right now, the wife had the baby this weekend
