I am in the process of replacing my jumper seat with a console (either flo thru or xlt) and I need to know if the mounting on these will be the same as my seat? please reply asap thanks in advance

As I understand it, the XLT console is a direct fit. I'm not too sure on the FX/Lariat console, I think there is a bracket on the bottom that uses different mounting holes than the front center seat holes, the console holes are closer to the dash. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Is it a reqirment to have the floor shifter if you have the XLT with the optional captains chairs or is there a different console when the XLT doesnt have the floor shifter.

The floor shifter is only available on the Lariat and FX4, and is not an option on the XLT.
