2" vs 2.5" on a 2wd

Due to the relatively lower front coil springs on a 2wd truck will it take a 2.5" Autospring spacer to sit level rather than a 2 inch spacer that makes four wheel drive trucks sit level?

I really don't like the front sitting higher than the back, but I also don't want to put a 33" tire on and find out that because my coil springs are shorter than a 4wd that I needed the 2.5".

Any help from you fellow 2wd drive guys that have an AS spacer would be greatly appreciated.

I'd go with the 2.5 inch lift. If it's too high, add a lift block to the rear.

I have a 2wd supercab, and I'm sitting on the 2.5. I had the exact same issues when I was deciding which to go with, but I am 100% satisfied with the 2.5. It sits perfectly level, rides like stock, and looks great.

My 2 cents- 2.5

2WD crewcab checking in with a 2.5" AS spacer. Sits exactly level, per my measuring eye, stock type ride and looks nice. I havent even got larger tires either.

I don't know what you mean by "bulldogging". The 2.5, on my truck, behaves 100% like my truck did when it was stock. I honestly cannot tell the difference, aside from sitting up nicely.

i have the 2" with 33's on a 2wd. There is plenty of room so it can be done. I have the old style AS which is why i went with 2" ( no rubbing)
