Kristen,

You'll also find in my numerous posts about HID, where the "cheaper" places are to look for OEM HID parts that will work safely for your truck. This will help prevent against that $5,000 ticket or an accident which would easily add more cost to your HID setup then what it would be to have real HID in the first place.

First and foremost, the cheapest version and most OEM for everyone with OK output would be the Saleen HID headlights that will be coming out this summer for our new model F150.

This setup should be around $800 but will be a very easy conversion to do and will be FULLY OEM. Thus VERY LITTLE risk of tickets from the po-po. They still can ticket you since the law says any lighting that did not come stock on your truck from the factory. These headlights wouldn't have come stock from the factory, but it would take a cop who has read a ton on this matter to pull you over for it. Especially since the OEM headlights would not be blinding people when properly aimed.

Hope this helps,

Duke

Duke, it does help, and in all actuality, I really didn't know, so thanks for all your efforts now that your being 'nice'. I have saved your two threads below too for future reference, even though I DO know how to search for them I'll just be happy with my upcoming mods (anxiously waiting my my intake and exhaust), and keep saving for something bigger and better....

NOW if we can all stop yelling at me.. that would be great

Way to break me into the boards guys... hope I passed my initiation!!!

Edit: Lashings for dangerous ideas truly never stop. You'll eventually find our true tongue lashers as some of them have not shown up here yet and probably won't. Keep your eye out and you'll see them. Some comments are actually quite funny. (Just be happy you haven't been Mule Kicked by Dzervit.)

Well I conceed I was stern when explaining the correct way to do things to you; I was not the inverse of "nice" (mean). Glad that you see both sides of the story and that lighting a road to where people routinely "flick (you) off" is not a good idea to execute.

Don't think anyone was hollering, just reponding to someone who was lighting a road and getting "flicked off".

If I posted that I was dumping sewage out the back of my truck while driving because it made it easier to get rid of my sewage and that people flicked me off who had their trucks splattered because they were behind me. I'm sure someone would inform me sternly that this was not a good idea.

Same thing, both stories stink.

Duke
