New/Old Member comming back

I just picked up an 06 Lariat super cab 4x4 and came back to see what's up. I originally joined this forum in 97 when I bought a 97, sold it in 99 I believe. This forum used to be in one of those Newsgroup/email deals back then, there were'nt too many members. Any ways after a little of this and that I'm back. I guess I'll start with exhaust mods. Tell me what's new, fellas and gals!

Well, what are you looking for? loud? quiet? something in the middle? I have a Magnaflow SISO on my 2006 and love it. quiet as stock at most speeds, but has a nice rumble when you push it thru the floorboards! I also have a tuner (EDGE EVO ) and a Volant Cold air intake. The intake is louder than the exhaust. lol

Motopro is right, the Maggie is quieter than the 2 loud intakes, Volant and the Air Force One. I would suggest the Edge for a tuner, without a doubt the best mod you can do for the F-150. You also have the choice of an XCal2 but I won't go there, I don't think people like me speaking about my unresolved issues with it

About the exhaust, read what was posted here in this recent thread. It has good information.

Congrats on the F-150! What did you own in the meantime?

I'll probably go moderate loud, I put JBA headers and a Gibson cat back on my 97 back then, then swapped the Gibson for a true dual setup with Glass Pacs. I've got an old bigblock Galaxie with Flow 40 series on it, sounds good. The Stang I just had, I was running SLP loudmouths. I would like a cross between the loudmouths and the 40s.

Thank's for the exhaust link. In betweens and still haves: 99 Cherokee, 88 Cherokee, 02 BMW 33CI, 03 Lightning, 95 F150, 05 Mustang GT, 65 Galaxie, still own, 66 F100, still own and a 90 F150, still own. I usually keep a primary, a backup, a toy and a project. The latest 150 will be for towing and primary.
