New Truck!! WOOT!!!

well i decided to cut my losses on the beaner work truck and trade it in. i'm driving to california to leave my truck home while im gone, and i sure as hell aint driving a a work truck with no cruise control clear the **** across country.

so i picked up this 06 F150 XLT from Freedom ford on friday. they gave me a killer deal i couldn't turn down, and although i was hoping to get a loan for a black leather/aspen green lariat i am very happy with this truck. if i coughed up a few grand more i prob could have got it, but that money is tied up in the stang's motor.

it has the 4 inch polished stainless steel tubular running boards!! how could i NOT buy it? i <3 running boards.

the tags are from my 05 work truck. it had the payload so i had to have truck tags. im gonna put reg tags on it soon, these expire in july anyways. most new dealers around here give you hard tags on the spot now.

Very nice, do the Lariat cluster swap, it's supposed to be very easy as long as you have the harness.

are you guys kidding? i popped my K&N filter in it before i drove it off the lot. line x goes in tommorow, tonneau cover is on the way. my 05 had the filter and a flowmaster exhaust in less than 24 hours. i'm doing a magnaflow, ordered the muffler today and i'm gonna have a shop weld the pipes. i found a set of 20 inch wheels i like already, but i'll be doing some more research before i buy. thinking about an intake, but i'm not sure if i want to mess with tunung it yet.

Yep, that was Greenie's parking lot. Really trashy bar with a patio right on the water. Its a great little dive, although it has been getting better clients the last year or so. Its been one of my favorite places to hang.
