HELP finding US manufactured tires?

Hey I need some help finding which tires that are 305-35-24 are manufactured in the US so that when I get them I can bring them into Canada without having to pay duty on them.

Which ones are made in the US and still have a descent price on them?

I'm pretty sure BF Goodrich, Firestone, Goodyear, and Uniroyal are all made in America. But you'd have to double check their websites to be sure.

Why not just order them from Tire Rack? (www.tirerack.com)

I know Bridgestone/Firestone has several plants around the country. I don't know which plant makes which tire though. But I'd be willing to bet, just about every tire sold in the US (by them) is made here.

My Goodyear AT/S says made in the US and a quick look at their web page says they make them in your size.

BTW.....I thought the NAFTA agreements made everything groovy with the duties paid and all. As we can see by your post, it is all a crock of shee-yite!

Ya anything not made in the states we have to pay duty on. And even then you sometimes need a Country of Origin papers with the item so that they don't charge you duty

Edit: Forgot to add that Nitto's are only available in the states if they are made there i don't know

Cooper tires are made in Ohio. they are good quality tires and not as expensive as other brands.

You could also get Mickey Thompson as well. Cooper owns that company.

I think that Cooper Tires also has a couple of plants in Mississippi, if I am not mistaken. A couple of my EE classmates were co-op students at the Tupelo plant when I was at Mississippi State.
