Had my update last night, drove my truck this morning to work...first thing I've noticed is that I no longer have that drone notice/feel around 45-60 mph. The shudder I was having is gone also. Finally, transmission seems to shift smoother than before although no difference in performance gain or lost. Over all I am somewhat impressed over the last update. BTW, my truck is from RXAQ family.

I still have the orginal version that mine came with, which is either 13 or14. I have been running lvl 3 for well over 1.5 months now and no problems with driveabilty (sp?), the only issue that I noticed is that the speedo (on the evo) was off 6 mph conpaired to my gps when I did a custom setting for my 325/60/18's, and this would explain the reason why I was getting passed and not the one doing the passing. The truck speedo said 60, evo said 59, gps said 53. I ended up having to set the evo to the stock size tire in order to get the evo to read the same as the gps did. Would the new update help with this at all??

Did you change the rear gear setting?

When you checked it it said 3:73, but that's not what was in the tune. When you look at it, you need to hit the enter button, and not just back out of that section.

This is what this latest update is supposed to fix. You can look at it, and it will show the 'actual' gears that the computer is tuned for, not the default number that showed up on the screen.

Hex: RXAQ5B4 Updated and also had no problems. I never had the shutter problem that others have had on level 3. I really haven't noticed a difference from level 2 to 3, except for maybe a loss of low end torque on level 3.

According to the update notes you should now feel a difference between lvl 2 and 3. I know I did but the shudder still has not been fixed.

Interesting we have the same HEX

Drove a few hundred miles last night on level 2 and all seems well. Going to fill up with 93 tomorrow and try level 3. Hope things are better with it.

It will give you a new version of the Lightning software, along with the firmware and calibration. That is the correct size.

You make it sound like a bad thing.

Why?

I would much rather have them update, then do nothing like some other brands.

We ask the Edge people for improvements, and they listen..... and provide.

What a great company.
