two-tone

New poster here..... I two toned my 06 XLT 2 days after I bought it. I see too many all black ones, so I went with DSG as it's only available on FX4's and not availible on XLT's. Not sure what it would cost, as I did it myself (i'm a painter at a BMW/LandRover franchise in Michigan.) I'm presuming 750-1200, especially since you want the bumpers done as well. Are they chrome?. Just get it done right! Don't price shop, quality shop. And personally, I think Arizona beige looks best on White, but what color is your interior? Good Luck!

Funny I started a thread the other day about painting the DSG portion of my Silver FX4 black to blend in more with all the other black trim/plastic and of course to be a bit different. Heck I want Lariat moldings and the HD lower valance so that would be the time to get it redone. Mmmmm silver and black. Daddy like.
Go for it and good luck.

you should look into vinyl (it is new way of graphic work on cars/trucks without the painting it) This is fairly new procedure but it is very popular with NASCAR and has worked way into commerical use now. It should cost about the half the cost paint and you can get any shape/color you want.

If your gonna do it, might as well do something unique like a fade job.

I paid FoMoCo $250 for mine.

The vynil is an interesting concept, but it gets rock pecks in it. They've been making a camo vynil application for several years now. I suppose you could always peel it off and redo it, but there's no way outside that to fix it. They feel like sandpaper after a while.
