Another option out there, especially for Screw owners, is the Auto Ventshade stepshields. They have the diamond plate pattern like the plastic sill/door trim along the carpet. The black ones match perfectly with my FX4 black interior.

They come in a set of 4 (front/rear) and I only paid $34 shipped for them (this price was like a year ago though, they might have gone up). I used the rear ones on my truck, and my fronts are still the stock Ford ones. I plan on trimming and reusing the Ventshade front ones in the rear of the next Screw I might buy in a year or two. I got them from TruckXcessory.com if anyone is interested (best deal online I could find at that time).

Steve

Just ordered a pair. Thanks for all the pics, P/Ns, writeup, and the $38 hit to my pocket.

Those are awesome BREW I needed something like that 6 years ago, guess I could still order some and cover up all the ugly!

Now, get yourself some chicken soup, go lay down and veg in front of the TV for a while. Spring is in the air and you need to be well; how on earth can you garden when you're sick??!

Im curious how do you get those "under warrenty." I want to make sure I try the same deal.

Sorry man, somehow I missed this post, or the drugs are kicking in and I just fogot to respond to you. When I got the truck, I only had the one scuff pad on the drivers side. So I questioned it and told them that my 04 had it on both sides and bigger. We went and looked at the 04 and they were like, well, looks like you need some new ones. The service manager said he didnt care what ones I got, so we ordered the ones for the 04 model. It may have helped that my brother works there, I used to work there, i'm friends with my salesman and the Service manager. But all in all, the one was missing and needed to be installed anyway.

You scored dude. The 06 only comes with the one little driver's side pad. My dealer would have told me to bugger off.

Since I have a SCrew I went the easy route and just ordered the Auto Ventshade stepshields from Moss.

Did anyone confirm/deny that, by ordering 4L3Z-1513208-BAA & 4L3Z-1513209-BAA that you get scuff guards for the rear doors on a SCREW?

RP, what do you mean by they don't look right to you?

As far as the Ford ones, they never made any for the rear doors. Those part numbers are for the front doors in which you trim them to fit the rear door sills.

I'm told that there is a PN for the rear doors.... but I've yet to see them on a truck or in person -- I have no clue if they have a "F-150" on them or if they're just plain jane...

I know they're more expensive than the fronts for some reason... figures.

I think the reason I didn't care for them is because I have beige trim in the interior... putting the dark grey/black plastic immediately next to the beige trim there at the sill didn't jive... it might look a-o-k on a dark trimed interior.

HAHA, well It wouldnt really matter if you did, the only difference in the 2 is the placement of the "F150" in it. Its more to one side, of the pad. So no matter what, it will be in the same position as the other side, just may be too far forward.

Het RP.....I checked today, and it doesnt seem that there were a set for the SCREW in 04. Just these for the SCAB.
