Anyone have any info on the recall on 2005 F-150's with Continental tires? I know that it doesn't apply to all but I was wondering if anyone knew the timeframe as to which the trucks with faulty tires were said to have been put into circulation.

I got my truck in May of '05 and was curious. I know that we can call our dealer and they should have the info handy but I was just gonna check here first because it seems you guys know more about what's going on than my dealer usually does (yes, I'm serious).

Best way to figure this one out Joe is to give FoMoCo's customer service a call. Have your VIN ready. Additionally, you can register at myford and track all recalls via that outlet.

My dad had the recall done on his 05 one month ago. Has a few thousand miles on the new tires and they are wearing funny already. Not only that but when we got the truck back the tires were underinflated.
