Tire Opinions Needed

Hey guys, I just had my local Ford dealership install my leveling kit and can't stand the way the stock tires look. I have a 2004 F150 FX4 supercrew and wanted to see if anyone is running Nitto Terra Grappler AT tires in 325/60/R18. I want to put the largest tires I can without worrying about uneven wear and rubbing. I'm open to any suggestions as far as brand and size...just want to see what has worked for you.

that size will work for you perfectly- um as for people who have em, find thumpermx113, and go to his gallery --actually, here you go: https://www.f150online.com/galleries....cfm?gnum=5198

Will they work well for me even though that guy has a lift and aftermarket tires? I'm still running my stock 18s. Thanks for your help!

yep- im essentially running a 325/60 R18 on my truck as well- the first few pics are his new setup, if you go towards the bottom you can see his truck with the aftermarket wheels, the terra grapplers with only a leveling kit.
im running 33x12.5R18 on my stock rims with only a 2.5" leveling kit...
you'll be fine with that tire on your stock rims- you'll be a bit wide, and may wear unevenly, but they'll fit

Awesome man, thanks for all the help. I don't mean to ask too many questions, but what if I wanted a tire that would wear evenly...what size would you suggest? Also, how many miles do you have on your tires and how are they wearing? I put about 25,000 miles a year on my truck, so the last thing I want to do is constantly deal with tire problems.

a 33 would look great, however, since its an AT, the sidewall arent super strong, like a mud, so for the width of the rim compared to the suggested rim width you are over and will wear unevenly. if you went up to a mud, you could fit a 33, as they are given a wider range of rim widths due to their sidewall strength- if you wanted the terra grappler for sure, you could go with 285/60R18, but its only 31.4" overall height, and 11.5" wide---thats about equal to stock tire height, and a bit wider than stock.
my tires have about 11,000 miles on them so far, and still look great in regards to tread depth and even wear., they are Toyo Open Country M/T's

I have another question...I've been researching. Pro Comp has both the X Terrain and the Xtreme A/T that are recomended to be used on a 8 inch rim (much closer to 7.5 than other tires). They come in 33/13.5/R18 and 35/12.5/R18...would either of these fit without rubbing?

you can do 35's its hit or miss whether you will rub- if you do rub, it wil lbe a full crank against your wheel well liner- you can trim or pull it out of the way if its rubbing alot. either one would work- personally i like the 33's, more room for the wheel to move around in there, and absolute assurance of no rubbing- i live in the middle of nowhere, so rocks mud and crap in the road is common...
