wheels- while were all excited

while Josiah's got all our attention now, and we're all pumped, was screwing around on the web yesterday and came across these: http://www.ampwheels.com/360_views/flathead_360.html give em a spin, and tell me what you think- yea i know its 8 spoke/lug, but they make a 6/6-135 so imagine them without two spokes-

heres a quick photoshop of my truck with them on-

honest opinions!! thanks guys

At first look I didn't like the center caps too much but the more I look at them on the truck the more I start to like em!

yea i was thinking the same thing- they seem large, but once they were on, they begin to grow on ya- the only thing im kind of unsure of is the machined parts- i mean my truck is solid black- black guard, black piaa's, black running boards, soon to be tinted windows... the only shiny things on it are my 4" pipes out the back- i wish i could really see them on my truck

I kinda like em. I think they would look good on a superduty but they look kinda out of place on a f-150. They do grow on you after you look at them for a while. Maybe if we could get a side pic.

yea, the 8's obviously fit the superduty, but the ones that will fit our trucks are six...so there is a bit more spacing in them... if you go to www.ampwheels.com go to wheels, and find the Amp Flathead, you can see what the 6's look like- its a flash site, so i cant copy the page link thanks prof-

I like 'em! Even the 8 spoke I don't mind so much. Kinda gives the F150 the SuperDuty look. Anybody know how much we're talkin for a set of these?

Seeing them from a sideview make me like them more. I guess I like them because they are different.

haha, I like your post. Those rims look fantastic (almost like the hulks in black) but I'm not a big fan of black rims so my input is void. I would like to see some more pics of them photoshopped

I like them B.

They go well with the black truck.

I have to compliment on the photoshop. Great job!
They look like their already on the truck.

Side note. Balog how do you like that tonneau cover?
I was thinking of getting one of those. Its a roll up style, right?

they are $229/wheel Amp seems to only be affiliated with Les Schwab Tire centers- well thats the only place i've found them yet.

they are 4.6" backspacing, so they will stick out roughly 2" past stock (current setup)

thanks man- lol- as for the tonneau, i love it- its a BAK Rollbak tonneau, its worked great can handle the harsh winters up here, all the dirt and mud i can throw at it... there are some pictures in my gallery- the bozeman one- with pictures the day I installed it- you can see the lock, the low profile, the canister in the bed etc...

josiah- haha, thanks- I'll see if i can find some good pics of the 6 spokes, and get them on there, maybe a close up too-
