How about this? . . instead of looking like an idiot holding the key fob up to your chin, you could just spend a few hundred on a nice remote start/alarm. I've got the Clifford alarm/remote start with the LCD fob and it works REALLY far away.

And before somebody says something about it being stolen because I left the keys in it...if they want it bad enough to break into it they can have it!
The only problem might be insurance......there was a guy sued because his vehicle was stolen and it ran over somebody. Well the guy was held repsonsible for leaving it running in a parking lot and making it "available" for the thief to steal.

but i love it too! lol

Yep. I got a Code-Alarm Remote Starter, and the tiny little one button remote has a range of nearly 700 ft.

LOL...I only lock it when we go to Wal-Mart. Actually I was in Valdosta yesterday at Wild Adventures...we went to the Craig Morgan and Trace Adkins concert. Going back April 1st for Merle Haggard!

Well I leave the keys in the cup holder on the console...so they aren't in the ignition. Plus someone would have to break in to get to them...no different than leaving an extra key in there. So I wouldn't think it would be the same as leaving it running in a parking lot, but your right if an insurance company can screw you with a loop hole they will!

But I will risk it...no keys in your pocket feels almost as good as wearing no underwear!

I'd rather put my remote up to my chin than be the idiot who spent hundreds of dollars on a shiny new remote.

j/k
