Quintin,

The last page of that TSB says that it is eligible under provisions of the "New Vehicle Limited Warranty Coverage and Emissions Warrany Coverage." Is that a typo then? I wouldn't be surprised it is was.

Maybe I'm wrong then. I always associate 8/80 with catalytic converter replacement.

For those who wish a print out:

Right click one page at a time> Click Save As>Place in File of your choice.

Go to File of your choice>Open first page to your Photo Program>Resize page to your choice (I used 600X)>Crop to trim borders>Click File on tool bar>Click Print on drop down>Size page to your choice (I used 6X9)>Print.

As I write I have all 4 pages on my desk ready for filing in my Helms.

How were you right? This is still a problem.....they just have a paper that tells them what to do now......no recall was issued and the emissions warranty will run out when you get these replaced if you follow the 100k interval so when you take your truck in at 100k and they all break off, then you will have to pay the straight time for them to extract each plug end, and I bet that will be cheap.... My advice is to get it done at 50K, while the emmisions warranty is still in effect, and lessen the chances of them breaking off...
