Seems strange that it only applies to 2004 model trucks. Don't all 5.4 have the same spark plug design?

Ford really didn't step up on that one. That is only a TSB, NOT A RECALL, and is something to follow when it happens, but it is only covered under factory warranty and emmisions warranty (which is like 80K I think). If you are at 100K replacement interval, you still gotta pay for this procedure...........but at least they will not have to pull heads.

Thumbs up spark plug warranty

Looks like the plugs are under warranty now even under the emissions warranty which goes up to 7 or 10 yrs i believe,, hope no one paid to have plugs removed when broken... i could not find this tsb on net sites though,,

No offense, but I retract my previous statement about emailing the pdf. I only meant it to Rochester. I don't understand why everyone needs me to email it to them. I just signed on to my yahoo account and had 24 emails from people wanting the pdf. I posted it on here so I wouldn't have to email it to everyone. Its not like you'll be able to take this to the dealer and have them replace the plugs under warranty. .

From: Georgia on my mind...
If there ain't nothing wrong with how the engine is running, don't expect to get plugs replaced under warranty. And spark plugs aren't covered under 8/80 emissions warranty.
