Dangit teknics!! Now I am gonna have to get those! Maybe I will run with my Hella 530s for a while, and the save up for the Xenarcs. Based on the pics, looks like you could get away with the stock fogs and xenarcs for night driving.

That is a very nice clean pattern of light. So you just substituted the HID bulb and balast for the standard bulb headlamb.. ? is that correct?

Looks great.. Cant wait to see them finished and installed behind your bumper grill.
Where did you buy your lights from?

This message board is going to make me poor with all these great mods I keep seeing.

Subscribing!

I have the McCullough 5000K kit for about 3 months but I haven't put the kit in because of "wires melting", glare, and 'crappy kits' etc....

The real reason is I don't want to loose my high beams.

I got a wiring harness that has leads directly to the battery from xenonking.com, it is the "wiring harness" and not the "relay harness". There is minimal glare with the HID as it is not a true retrofit, but not the worst I have seen. Been a week and nobody has flashed me.

I was a little sketchy on losing my high beams, but I honestly won't need them right now with these lights.

I got the foglights from www.suvlights.com through ebay for 299.

I have some adjusting to do with the lights, but I am happy with how they turned out. Thanks for the comments!

Hey Tek --

Can you take a couple of pictures of the supplied Xenarc switch? I'm curious as to how a 'remote control' switch looks/works -- or did you go with that relay to bring them to life with your regular fogs? Other?

RP,

There are pictures of the switch on suvlights.com. It almost looks like the keyless entry fob - just a little bigger.

just because someone hasn't 'flashed' you, doesn't mean they have proper alignment. i am absolutely against these rebased 'kits' that just drop in a reflective halogen housing and blind the hell out of oncoming traffic. i've seen many of these on the street. halogen reflector headlights were never designed for hid bulbs! i have done a few hid retrofits with xenon projectors in halogen housings. to me that is the only way it should be done. you are just going to ruin it for the rest of us that know how to retrofits the proper way when they start banning ALL non-factory equiped hid headlights.

Just for the record, I bought the kit to see how it looked.

I bought the xenarc fog lights so I can do away with the McCulloch's. I plan on getting a set of the Saleen housings either before or after they become available.

Not to sound all combatish, but im not some little punk kid who think's HID are the greatest. I know the consequences of using HID in a Halogen housing, I know it's not the "right way".

I am not about to get into a pissing match, but you really need to lose the elitist attitude my friend.
