Got some new headlights..

and now Im giving them away.. I had them in my truck for about 3 weeks...
They're just a LITTLE too blue for me. They dont match with my Silverstar fogs at ALL.. Bought em off ebay for like $3 or somthing.

Anybody that wants them can have em.. I'll mail em to you free of charge.

I wouldnt recommend them to anyone with fog lights because the light output color wont match.

The light output of the bulbs arent much different than stock as far as brightness goes... not brighter, but not MUCH dimmer.
The light on the left is the HALO bulb and the right is the stocker.

Email me and their yours.. First come first serve.. Any questions, feel free to ask.

** I'm not trying to SELL them or make a profit or benifit myself in any way here, so I didnt put the lights in classifieds**

I had the same Blue Headlights in my truck once. They looked pretty cool at night as they gave out a bluish reflection, but you can't see a damn thing when the roads are wet or raining out. You can't even tell if you have headlights on or not.

I later found out while researching on the Internet that the blue light it gives off Bounces off water therefore you can't see when roads are wet. White light does not reflect off water which is why I turned to Silver star and couldn't be happier with them.

I am still debating a HID install for my truck. I hate the fact that I will lose my high beams but if the light output is better I can deal with it. Those blueish bulbs you had looked pretty good in the pics but if they are crap in the rain who needs em.

I dont know why people mess with their bulbs. Are your lights not bright enough?? Are you trying to make high beams out of low beams? Or is it cool to make high beams come out of your fog lights?? Save your money. even though its only $3

When you live in the middle of no where and there are a million deer ready to run out infront of you at any minute, you kinda want somthing brighter so you see them earlier.

I want my headlights to be brighter with little effort and money.

If simply switching out my bulbs will brighten my headlight output for little cash, Im all for it. I could get somthing like this (below)

But its just not practical...

Simply put, when Im on a backroad where there is nobody else around, I want to turn nighttime into daytime.

Nice review... sounds like this is a bulb to, generally, avoid. BTW, I don't have a hook up on headlight bulbs...

How's the 'ville?

lol..

Havent been to the 'ville in a few weeks. Still livin in Murray.

I'm looking into an HID kit* Somthing to brighten up these stock bulbs.

I have SilverStar Fogs and XtraVision Headlights (Just bought the Xtra Vision's today).

Driving down backroads where there are no other vehicles... I just WANT somthing brighter.

I have already hit 1 deer with my truck and ALMOST hit ALOT more..

Its pathetic. There needs to be more deer hunters around here. They already upped the deer tags this past year to 3 does and 1 buck.

*I'm Hi-Jacking my own thread*
