Side Mirror Damged. Need advise on fix.

It finally happeded. I backed out of the garage while distracted (giving the 6 y/o a good lecturing) and caught the passenger side mirror. I was hoping you all could take a look at these pictures and tell me if there was a single part that I could buy to fix it rather than buying the whole mirror assembly. For lack of a better description, it looks like I just damaged the "bezel" piece around the miror. However, that piece does include the turn signal and then integrate into the "arm" that attaches to the body. I really don't know what I'm talking about here, but I figured someone here would. Here are the pictures. Thanks for the help!

After looking at the picture I guess I should have cleaned the mirrors first. The dirt makes it appear that there is more damage. Oh well, just try to overlook the dirt.

I think I would get a new mirror, or a parts yard replacement.

Here is some information that may help if you decide to change the mirror yourself. I just had to do my driver side after being side swiped. The parts can be found at the following location: https://fordparts.com
The part numbers are:
4L3Z-17683-DAB (Driver Side)
4L3Z-17682-DAB (Passenger Side)
Both are $95.80 ea. minus shipping

There are instructions on one of the forums at the following link:

Hope this helps.

Hah! I'm not the only one. When I bought my truck it had a chip in the mirror. I have chips on the rear tailight covers as well (how in the hell does that happen). It's the insides closest to the tailgate. Can you purchase just the tailight covers? Lastly, what is the cheapest any of you have seen a mirror on ebay for?

Also, that link doesn't work Paschalld. Isn't there another site for ford parts, I can't recall the place. I bought my LT shifter from there.

I have looked around ebay and I havent seen any mirrors with the turn signal. You might want to try fordparts or your dealer.

Baroy - I have a pair or OEM mirrors sitting in my garage (I changed them out in place of my towing mirrors). Anyway, I'd be willing to let one go pretty cheap if you're interested. Shoot me an email through my profile...

You bet I'm interested. I really appreciate the offer.
I just want to get clarification about one thing from the membership (or you) here first. I have the heated mirror option on the Lariat. Will the mirrors you had on your XLT work? If not, then does that change the part numbers given in the earlier post that I will need to buy?

If all checks out you will definitely be hearing from me.

I did the EXACT same thing to mine. Backing out of the garage, thought I was clear, looked away for a sec and WHAM! I have just the regular mirror with no turn signal. I need to replace mine as well soon. I might be interested in the passenger mirror if he doesn't decide to buy it.
