Urgent parts help! Please read....

Ok guys I need your help. The short of it is this. When I got my harley grill I was given a later style grill emblem. As most of you know the early 04-05's had a flatter emblem compared to the current domed variant that replaced it mid-run. I did not realize the difference till not long ago when I was throwing some things out and saw the old badge.

Here comes the favor, can any of you guys out there help me track this part down? Im going crazy looking for it! Any of you parts gurus out there got any ideas where I can hunt this thing down? Every one Ive talked to so far is "sold out".

If anyone can help me find this the beer is on me. Seriously. The original part number was = 4L3Z1542528BA. I dont care where either. ebay, drug dealer, whoever. If someone has it I want it. Im watching ebay but its hard to tell sometimes. And some have completely different part #'s. Maybe there multiple #'s ?

I know it might not seem like a big deal, but the front not matching the back really bugs me. I appreciate any help you could give me guys...

Later,

Luis S

Call your dealer or fordparts.com. I went to fordparts.com and typed in your part number above, and it changed it to "4L3Z-1542528-AA" and listed it as "name plate" for $29. I'm not sure this is what you're looking for so I'd call them and maybe they can take a photo, or describe what that part number really is over the phone.

Why dont you take the emblem off your old grille and put it on? Do you still have it?

Asinatra,

Your killing me man. I just need the emblem not the whole surround! Could you poosibly verify the part number on back of it for me?Id appreciate it...

Ram,

You know, funny thing about that is m grill Go trashed when I installed my harley grill. Not cool but hey it happens. The tabs that held it on just popped right off. After that it was trash. Needless to say Im up the creek. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Luis S

I just pulled one the one off of a my 04 lariat grille and its part 4L34-15402A16-BA. Pulling it off I broke one of the tabs off the back. But if you want it I will trade you for the one you got if you pay shipping for both. All you will have to do is use a drop of JB Weld to hold the missing tab side on. If you want it I can send it to you...you can swap yours out and then send me yours. Just don't crap on me and not send me yours because I will need this one to put the stock grille back in when I trade it.

(I am about to leave and won't be back until Sun. If you want it email me at ramsst1997@hotmail.com )

Man, all this breakin' going on.

You guys must be some ham fisted galoots, or use your feet instead of your hands.

What is the deal?

Ham fisted? Maybe a little. But to tell you the truth Ive always done more damage being overly cautious than when I just say f'it an do it full steam. Oh well, it is what it is I guess...
