So what's the verdict on the 2" or 2.5" Autospring

you take the nut off first--i think 19mm-- then hit the top of the spindle around the ball joint carefully with a hammer. i wrapped the ball joint in a rag, then used a 15lb sledge
also, i worked the a-arm up and down a few times with a floor jack.

If you haul anything over 500 lbs, it will sag. The leafs on these trucks are pretty soft, so it does not take much. I had installed the 2 inch "old" design the first time and saw that the UCA-coil contact was getting worse. After a good discussion with Kevin at Autospring, I swapped it out with the new design. So far no problems and I have about 1/4 inch of clearance now fully off-loaded on the front, so my spindle is plenty long. I do know that the varying lengths of spindles are the cause of UCA-coil issues with these spacers. Some have this problem with the 2 and 2.5 inch spacers and some don't depending on this length.

How do you know if you are going to have a problem before you actually install the kit or is that not possible?
