Edge Problem

I just got my Edge and am having a problem updating it. I d/l the Lightning software, and clicked 'Check for Updates' and it d/l 2 firmware or something. It was in the middle of updating the Edge, and my computer restarted for some reason. Now when I click 'Check for updates' it says 'Sorry. We could not find that file.' Any one else have this problem or any idea what's wrong?

Thanks

. . you have to return the truck to stock before you try updating.

I haven't used it yet. I just took it out of the box. It gives me that error when I'm trying to update it from my computer.

If your computer restarted it sounds more like a USB and/or computer issue.
uninstall the USB drivers and lightning software, then install the lightning software then USB drivers (x2) and try again.
Which version of Windows?

I've tried it on two computers (both with XP) and both with the same result. Does anyone else's restart during/after it updates? Maybe mine is just defective or something because I followed the instructions word for word.

I uninstalled the previous version of the lightening software I had and installed the updated version. No problems.

connected the evolution and got the latest update with no problem.

You may have to disable your internet security before downloading. I usually do that and have no problem.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling on both computers with no luck. I did get it to d/l the firmware yesterday, so maybe the Evolution is updated and that's why it's not letting me d/l anything now. It says in the book that the program will close and have to restart. Does everyone else's do this after the new updates have been d/l?

I haven't had a chance to hook it up to my truck to check anything yet. Where can I tell what version of the updates I have on my Evolution when I do get it hooked up? I wish this thing would turn on w/o being hooked up to the truck.
