I'm not sure of the insulation that you used, but I'm on the look out for some type of insulation or sound dampening pad that I can use. The brake reservoir has been a concern for me, I'll attempt to move it over like you suggest. Thanks again. Can't wait to get this liitle issue out of the way and totally enjoy this intake.

It literally took Bob 5 minutes to put it on for me, and that's WITH taking my stock one off. So you can see it can be done very quickly. Yes i'll admit if i was myself doing it for the first time it would have probably taken more like 15-30 minutes to do it.

Thanks for the link. I remember seeing that post awhile ago. The install really wasn't too bad. Getting the holes at the bottom of the box lined up with the holes on the support bracket seemed to take the most time for me. I think this next weekend I'll be adding the extra hole near the front of the box and adding some padding to help eliminate any vibration. That small electronics box attached to the fender is a bit of a nuisance. The Volant box fits right up next to it. Wish there was some more clearance there to avoid rubbing and the sort. I'll be moving the brake fluid reservoir too when I can. It's a great intake, just fits a bit tight in the space provided.

Bryan, that sounds really great, where did you find the write-up? Just so I can bring it to the attention of others.

OK, I installed mine today. No major problems. I did NOT have to modify anything. I agree the enclosed instructions SUCK. They help out very little. I did make one mistake. The gasket that goes around the air box to the fender I did not install. I am not sure what I was thinking. I will install that at a later time. I don't think it will hurt anything to wait and install it later. The only thing I can think is maybe it will pull a small amount of air from the engine compartment. Other than that I love it. I did notice a louder sucking noise under WOT, but I love the sound of it. I only test drove it for about 5 miles. Seems to be more touchy of the line. I will post any MPG change I may see. So all and all the install went well. Thanks for everyone and there threads on this great product.

Did you install a cap on the air filter box?

More details please. Are you talking about the hole pulling air from the front of the vehicle? What hole are you talking about?

Indiana are you serious?
Do you have the ram air option on your Volant?

If not, its the lower hole. ( I think )

I don't have mine yet, so I have no idea what it looks like.
I'm just going by what this guy said it his thread,

I guess mine does not have the ram air option. There is no extra holes anywhere on my kit. There are only 3 holes in the air box. One to the TB, one to the fender and one that sucks air from behind the headlight. Maybe when you get your kit you will have a better understanding of the questions your asking.
