I am so spoiled(Valentines day gift)

This past Christmas My wife gave me a 2006 F150 super cab with the 5.4L and a boat load of options.

I just got my Valentines day gift a bit early. And what is you ask?

A remote engine start for my truck. The mod bug is a lot of fun when your wife incorages your sickness (LOL). Next comes a catback then.............??. I think you get the point.

I am so spoiled.

My wife gave me the loan papers wrapped in a box for a truck for xmas... we just ordered exhaust, K&N and 4x4 decals for my birthday the other day...

She gets everything she wants, so she tries to do the same for me...

EDIT: Congrats, by the way!! Let the fun begin!!!

You're going to love the Remote Start system. Although not really needed here in Florida, I use it on a regular basis. Any idea which one she got you? I went to Ford last month and told them, "I want one that everything is controlled on one keyfob." I pick it up and everything for RS is one keyfob & everything for door locks, etc. is on another!!! Needless to say I told them I wanted it upgraded to the single keyfob system. Still waiting on parts

I'm kinda glad I'm waiting on parts for the RS, because I'm having them install the backup warning system too. I back up all the time, and as we all know there are MANY blind spots on or trucks. Once again, waiting on parts... I decided I wanted paint-matched sensors since my FX4 bumpers are the same color as my truck.

God I wish my GF was as giving as your wife! Wanna trade for a little bit?

I am not sure what brand RS she got but every thing is controled from the original key fob that controls my alarm. Because of the key combination that I have to use, when the RS starts my truck, the alarm is still active. It even has a timer option that will periodically start my truck every 4 hours, let it run for 10 minutes then shut off over a 4 day time block. thats more for people who live in extreem winter climates. I live in Southern California so I don't really need the timer start but its cool anyway.

My gf doesn't even begin to understand why I want the stuff I do. She already hates my lift thats not even on my truck (it's sitting next to me) because she won't be able to get in. I know I'll have to buy sidesteps now, thats another $200 at least. Women just don't understand, I doubt she'll ever buy me anything for my truck like that, the ones who do understand, those are keepers

I don't remember how much he quoted me, but I know the paint-matched sensors are $50 more! I'm thinking it was around $400. The Accy Mgr where I go is kin to my neighbor, so he usually shaves a little off the top for me.

Maybe some day you'll get blown. Seriously though, I assume you have to pick the stuff out and tell her what you want, right? I mean it would be incrdible if she knew what to get. I just bypass all that and buy my own present.

I badly want this as well, I want the factory button too. I'd need that small oval plate that holds the parking sensor on/off button as well, mine only has a 12v outlet, I need the oval plate with 2 holes. Are there any junk yards around Northern California that might have totalled newer body style F150's? The local ones don't get nothing but scrapped cars, pos ones at that.
