i've seen it for the earlier years but havent' confirmed for the new style.
this site says its for 04-05 trucks ...
http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductL...bin+Air+Filter

but doing a search for F65Z-18D477AA doesn't say it for the new style.

It is my understanding that there is one that can be added to the 04+. They do not come with one.

Just wear one of these.

Just messin' with you. What exactly are you trying to filter out? (i.e. you are allergic to pollen)

By the way I found this one particularly creepy for obvious reasons.

the 04+ doesn't come with one. I remember a post a while back that some service department (non-ford if I recall correctly) charged them a nice amount to change it - even though we don't have one.

I really wish they did have them.....Every dust filter I pull out of a car at work is totally trashed. Usually crammed with dirt and crap within 20,000 miles. Just to think that with no filter, all that is going right in.

The manual says theres one. My truck stinks bad when it first blows air or A/C. I think it is under the glovebox. can anyone confirm this for the 2004 F-150's?
Thank you,
Dan

Man looks like some freaky Cold War photos from back in the day. Got canned food in your bomb shelters? See nothing wrong with putting kids in trash bags. Looks like mom and the little tike are happy.

Thank you,

You need to turn the A/C to vent before you turn the truck off, that will remove the A/C smell you have after doing that for a while.

I think it talks about that in the owners manual.

i remember the early 90's honda's recommend always have the vent position on at least fan speed 1 to prevent odours. this is especially true after the a/c has been on because the condensation on the evaporator could turn to mildew.
