LOL!!! I got my first oil filter off yesterday too...talk about a PITA! By far the hardest oil change I have ever done. I had my friend actually drive a screwdriver through the damn thing and we still couldn't get it off. We finally got another friend's special oil filter tool (the clamp kind with the prongs) and we finally got it. Only took a half hour! I made sure we put it on hand tight this time around. Wow I can't believe the factory puts those things on there that tight!

. . or you could use F-150 Onlines free gallery and it even automatically re-sizes your pictures.

I cut it up with a dremel tool and then tried a filter wrench again.

You used a dremel ... on an oil filter. What is this world coming to.

alright man!! at least you got it off!! it will never be that hard again after the first time, i hope you oiled the gasket on the new one!!

I use one of two oil filter tools. Either the one that is a metal band, or the one that you attach to the end of a socket wrench. Speicalty tools are key.
