I'm pretty sure comparing the Rousch SC to the Whipple is a waste of time, they are not the same size. Is the Rousch offered in an intercooled version? The Whipple looks like their 2.3L, way bigger than the Rousch meaning way more potential if your into max hot rodding it. You don't want to overspin and overwork a supercharger, the excess heat kills engines easily, especially those with fragile pistons.

 

I believe the internals of the lightning 5.4 and NA 5.4 are exactly the same. The stock Eaton lightning charger runs pretty low boost.

 

Now that's the kind of power I would expect out of a supercharger! Finally, an SC worth the cost...I may have to sell some stock and make a purchase!

 

Yeah, I'm thinking...sell some stock...401K loan...rob a bank...knock off a rich relative...home equity line of credit...I have got to get my priorities straight!
