What would be better on a 2wd then? Just no lift? Or just like leveling kit to give it a more aggresive look?

I'd say if you want to keep your stock ride go with a pro comp 6" kit but if you want a little nicer get the skyjacker or fabtech 6" kit. You won't regret going big I promise

Does anyone know if the RCD will work with a 2WD? If so get the RCD 6"

What do you mean?

Because one my truck has like 2500 miles and already has like 5 problems, and wouldn't I have to replace like break line hoses, new gears cause with 3.55s and 35s I'd get about 8mpg.. Or would the edge telling what gears and tire size help that?

The edge will help a little, but I wouldnt chance that

If you are set on NOT running 35's then i would go with the 3" Skyjacker or a leveling kit. Especially if you only have 3.55 gears. If you do go with 35's and keep the gears you will have more "load"-if that is the right word, on your engine and tranny. Your engine and tranny is going to have to work harder to get up to a certain speed.

A 4" to 6" kit will give you lift and keep your geometry in specs
A leveling kit or the 3" Skyjacker will give you "off the wall" angles

If you do what TXF150 did, then your CV joint will be back in specs or at least close to it. He will have less problems with his steering gear assembly and all that goes with it. With TXF150's truck, he ran a 35 (i believe) which looks perfect for a 6" lift. 33's would have looked small. Like i said, if 33's are the tire you want (keeping stock gearing) then go with the other type of lifts (which do not have a front axle drop down bracket)

Take a look at his gallary that shoes the coil set up.....look at his CV joint angle.
Then look at my gallary, and look at my CV joint angle.
Its all of what you want and what problems you are willing to accept down the road

Well, I mean I want to give it a MORE aggresive look and some wicked tread tires.. I mean I want like a little lift but not like BOOM, I really want like 6" suspension and 35s. But at my age and lack of income(or very high income at this moment) I don't know what to do... What would you say for that situation?

E-Bay Rancho

This doesn't show the front 9000's but he e-mailed me a picture of them sitting in front of the box that had the correct part number so we're good to go. Luckily My 05' was made in 11-04 or this kit wouldn't work I would have to go with the kit ending in 89 rather than 88.

I like Thumpers truck with the 35's. But I do an EXCESSIVE amount of driving per year 30-35k (I have 38k on it and I bought 1-14-05!). I can get a better all around A/T tire in a 33 vs. a 35. I have always also been for a little smaller tire that can be shoved all the way in the fender if I want it too. I live real close to The Badlands in Attica, IN and have wheeled there often. Honestly, once this all gets set up I will have to take a trip just to shake her down.

After todays research I may go with the 315/70/17's in the Wrangler A/T Extremes. They are effectively 34.4" and according to the guy at tirerack.com are the new OEM on the H2 so they are made for a comfortable quiet highway ride (which I thought was funny considering the poser hard core people driving H2's). But as of yet you can't find a freakin picture of the Wrangler's yet so that will play a role. Honestly, for now I am really leaning toward going to some factory 17's and running the 315/70's it seems like the cheapest option to get me in the air. I am also a little obsessive about other things. I may not lift until I have new EBC rotors at all fours, ebc pads, and gears. Thats just how I am. I like something that will be done right.

As for bigger tires helping my mileage out. I did that and what a pain not ever knowing what exact speed your going. I am already out of warranty and will use the Edge to correct tire size issues.

I'll keep ya'll in the loop!

JJG, I almost forgot about you. Had it not been for this deal I would have gone with the skyjacker 3" system. It seems like the best 3" actual lift rather than spacers to be found. It would look solid on your rig!

When I said deal I meant the one I got on E-bay on the Rancho Lift.

Yes, seriously I was all for the skyjacker 3" lift. I just think it is well put together and a heck of a system for our trucks. Some will say its over kill for only 3" but I could care less what a lift looks like I want to know how a lift will perform under offroad conditions. I like the coil overs and the add a-leafs a lot better than some spacer. You can now also do the same with rancho you can add the adjustable collar 9000 series which can be adjusted for firmness and you could use the skyjacker add-a-leaf.

The reason I am hooked on Rancho, is that this is what I ran on my Rodeo. People are amazed at how much difference in adjustability in the 9000 series shocks. I had the older style with 5 settings on them. I drove on setting 2-3 and it was a firm but nice comfortable ride. When I aired down to 10 lbs. on my super swampers and put them on level 5 it would shake you fillings out, but thats good on crawling around on trails.

I razzed you about your truck and age but hell I would be doing the same had I been in your position so rock is like a rockstar.
