Spotted today: '06 F-150 Supercab KR

Yes, that's right. I said a SUPERCAB with the KR package. Don't ask me how or why, because I dont know. I thought the KR package was only an option on the Super Crew bodystyle? Can anyone clarify? I will take some pics of it tomorrow at work, and post them here later in the day.

King Ranches only come in Supercrew modles. What you see is what another guy said, a poser.

It wasn't easy finding a Lariat Scab

On Ford's website it doesn't offer a supercab, and you can still only get the 5.5' bed on the KR. The 6.5' isn't an option.

I'm telling you, I am damn near 100% sure that it was a 4x4 S'cab KR! I'll check again when I get to work today. Maybe it is a poser, who knows? Maybe someone took a two tone Lariat S'cab and put KR badges on it, but it sure looked authentic to me. We'll see what I find out when I get to work today and have a chance to check it out. I am pretty sure it is brand new too.

I actually saw the exact same thing at my dealership last week when my truck was in for an oil change. It wasn't in the lot either, it was on the showroom floor. Maybe they are a rare edition or dealership upgrade packages. Could be something like the Armadillo Superduty (Bright Yellow with custom wheels, lift and other options) they have sitting on their showroom floor next to the new black and white Ford GT.

I am a manager at the dealership. Trust me, I would know if they did some "extensive swapping out." I think if anything, a more likely situation is that a customer wanted a King Ranch so rather than buy one he/she got smart and said to themselves, "I'll just buy a S'cab Lariat and some KR badges and assorted items, no one will know." It was like the guy we had in the other day in our parts dept. He bought $3000 worth of parts because he wanted to make hi F-150 look like an LT. I'm telling you, this guy went ALL out, got the chrome sides, the wheels, the badges, the grille, EVERYTHING! SOme people are weird. I'll be able to tell once I get to work, so hang in there.
