Go with silver, doesnt show scratches as easily, and is real easy to clean too. My old 99' was Navy Blue, and showed every spot of dirt and scratch....

I'd agree that silver hides the dirt and scratches the best. Arizona Beige doesn't do too bad either.

I specifically won't buy a white or silver or light car because you get no satisfaction for keeping them shinny. You work on a dark vehicle all day and step back that baby looks good, real good. You work on a silver or white and it will also look good but it just doesn't pop considering the time you just spent on it.
I still get satisfaction cleaning it and I don't need to work all day on my silver like you

I've had 5 black trucks... every time I say I won't get black again, but I always do. You're right about them looking good after a day of cleaning, but then after 1 day of driving or hitting a puddle in the first 5 minutes of driving they look bad again.

Silver is the easiest color to keep clean by far.

Gray or red primer are the easiest to keep clean. If you have an old rust bucket, you don't have to worry at all

Aspen Green Metallic is just as hard to keep clean as Black. Hell it even looks black when it's late in the day.

I second that I love my silver....I had a Navy Blue F-150 before, awesome when clean, but the slightest drop, and the wash job was trashed. I love silver, doesnt show scratches easily either......

I wish the Lariat was offered in Silver. I just got my new tail lights, but I'm sending them back as a piece was broken. I also ordered carbon fiber F-150 badges for the tailgate Ford emblem overlay. More pics soon, let me know what you think. If I had a silver truck I would have went with Euro lights and not altezza's. Sorry about the dirt.

Silver and white are easiest. Silver will not show swirl marks or scratches as much. White will show stains from contaminants easily. Red is a pain and it oxidizes faster but it does look faster standing still. I liked Arizona beige and wanted to buy it, but not a big fan of the tan interior.

My days of spending hours detailing my vehicle are long gone. It was fun in High School or College, but I'd rather be doing something else now with my time. I seem to get away with just hitting my truck with a orbital and some good cleaner wax once every couple of months. Then throw in a professional detail a couple of times a year and have the truck clay'd and polished up.
