How many people have removed their Autospring because of problems?
Okay
I do agree that $600.00 is alot for a leveling kit, but it is his money not ours. Also back to the "crazy angles". Yes the leveling kits vs. the 3" skyjacker, all increase the angels of the front axle and Cv joint. It will cause some wear and tear over the long run. I have talked to mechanics and have shown them the new angles on the front end, their comment was "slightly more wear", depending on off-road use. But the guys running big tires with a normal lift, are going to have some problems down the road as well. First the additional weight of the wheel and tire will cause some problems on the front axle and cv joint as well. Also, people that have four to six inch lifts have "angle" problems as well. Im not necessarily talking about front axle angles either, im talking about front and rear driveshaft angles. You WILL have problems with your u-joints going out down the road. Yes i know the rear axle is "shimmed" but u-joint failure is inevitable. So to the few that talk sh#t about leveling kits and the 3" lift and the "angles" we have, the 4" to 6" lifts have their problems to.

Nice post and you've made some good points. I never said that I don't think I'll have problems DOWN the road becuase the installation of a lift and bigger tires. However, I don't plan on keeping the truck so long that Im really going to have to worry about it. However, when your upper control arm is almost touching the damn spring, thats something to worry about. Whatever though, its not anyone else's problem but yours so we'll see.
PS: U-Joints are pretty cheap. .

Dont you think it's more likely that 2 guys who were lit-up emotionally about a problem, calmed down, and talked it out then came to a mutually agreeable compromise?

Kevin/AS has done a lot of business with members of this board. I'd say the vast majority of the folks that have purchased kits from him are satisfied with their product. Keep in mind this started out as a NEW product to mod a NEW truck, there will be a learning curve.
Don’t you think he deserves better than to be thrown to the gutter over a single email that he admittedly shouldn't have sent and has since apologized for? Haven’t you said something you wish you hadn’t?
Another thing is I found it un-ethical for freeky to even post, for the entire world to see, a correspondence that was obviously meant for only him. Would you post something that someone sent you in a PM?

Here's the Truxxx

And the Autopsring

Similar designs except the Autospring has additional supports welded in. Not sure how they justify charging $300 for the Truxxx.
Toreadox,
I'm glad your kit is working out for you but you're an *** for celebrating someone else's misfortune.

That truxxx kit looks like a 5 year old welded it together. It it looks bent up
I said it before in my previous posts, AS makes a well built spacer, it just did not work well for me.
