My truck was reflashed prior to getting the edge. I had no problems. The only time you might run into a problem is if it is a brand new update/reflash from ford that edge hasn't been familiar with. Then you'll be able to update it through the internet once egde makes a new program.

If you could find someone near you who already has one, you can hook theirs up to your truck and see if your PCM' s calibration is supported or not.

Ok, so do any of you folks that have not had a problem have the 4.6L? By the way I have the Edge tuner and a 5.4L. I am very happy with it, except for one issue with fast idle after a cold start. Stock fast idle is around 1200-1300 rpm. On level 2, fast idle is around 1800-1900 rpm. I haven't run either level 1 or 3 yet so I don't know if the fast idle would be the same for those. I've sent the technical department at Edge an email (Monday), but have not heard back from them yet. Guess I need to make a phone call.

Have you installed the update off of their website. It looks like an update to the lighting software, but I am curious if it will also update the Evolution.

You will never really know for sure unless you talk with them and give them the code to your computer. Just because you wait....doesn't mean they will have it in their software.

*ugggg...60second posting rule.

Last time I checked for updates (Sunday), the versions of both the software and the tuner were up to date. Has a new update been issued since Sunday?

There's an idea, has anyone (Asinatra?) that is having problems thought about going to the dealer and getting reflashed and then see if it will work with the new calibration?
