FYI: MY2006+ Relfashing

Ford now requires a TSB for a reflash for MY2006+

No TSB = No relfash.

Just curious, are there any TSB pertaining to 06 trucks? My 06 has none of the throttle lag issues that my 04 did. But 1 out of every 20 starts, it just cranks then dies.

I sometimes get some vib issue's. Once a week. No idea why?
I just can't pin point a vib/shuddering from a start. Only during first gear change.
I called Ford and because it only happen's a couple of times a week they won't be able to pin point it. I guess they want to replace a tranny or torque converter.

Me too. Well, save for the tailgate emblem peeling off the flat black.

Vibration issues, HA!!!!

My truck has been in 2x's already (3000 miles and 2 months after I got it), with a 3rd time coming up. I've taken it to 2 different Ford dealers, and neither one of them have been able to get rid of the wheel vibration. Road Force balancing, isn't doing much to address that issue either. I guess I will be calling Ford Customer Service today, because the next time I take it in I'm sure that I will have the ability to file some sort of formal complaint.

Other than that I love that truck, and I hate to be without it, especially after driving an Escape for a loaner.

So far I haven't noticed any vibe problems with mine. It is much smoother than my '03 FX4 was for ride and engine vibration.

My '03 had a terrible rough idle the whole time I had it from new, I could be sitting at a red light and look over at the passenger seat belt just bouncing up and down on the seat.

The only thing I have noticed with my '06 is that the brake pedal drops down a whole lot further than I would like it to. Anyone else notice that?

I can honestly say my 06' is doing good...if I hit a hard bump I sometimes hear a loud bop in the back (I think it might be that power rear sliding window?) no vibration issues at all...smoothest vehicle I have ever owned...I've had it up to about 105 mph and it was like floating on glass...I cruise on the freeway at 70-80 all the time and no issues...very happy with the truck so far...

I do notice the big time lag when you push hard on the gas...it takes like a full second before it drops down a gear and gets going...I think that's the fly by wire throttle crap...everyday driving acceleration is awesome though...just when you step on the gas hard...I've even brake-torqued it a couple times and it does a pretty good job my friend told me it only did a one wheel burnout even though this is a limited slip rear??? I love my power moonroof! that thing is flawless...
