Question Locking bed cover ideas

I am looking for suggestions on retracktable /rollup/fold up bed covers. That will secure with a lock. I will be hauling parts back there and they need to stay overnight in the bed
I am not interested in the fiberglass tilt up types as I still plan on hauling stuff in my bed on occaision. Any ideas or hints where to find any will be appreciated. I didnt see much on ebay to my suprise.
I know retrax has a great cover but I am not to thrilled with the price ive seen of $1,000
Thanks

The soft roll up style like the Truxedo are only secure from the elements. They won't protect from midnight auto supply very well. I would try the retractable covers if you want to keep the honest man honest.

fold-a-cover or k-cover?

Both folding lockable covers. I'm looking at these for my truck. I've seen good reviews for both but maybe right now I'd give the nod to K-cover.

I can't speak highly enough about the Retrax bed cover. I paid around $800 for mine, I don't know how much under $1000 you want to spend, but you can certainly get one for less than $1k.

The most usable is a Fold-a-Cover (or any of the hard folding covers) with a remote lock.

I press the trunk signal and my front panel unlocks, so I can instantly access the front section.
Fold cover cost me 512 bucks November of 04. The actuator to make it unlock with my fob cost about 5 bucks. Took half an hour to put in.
I also put one in the tailgate. I never use the keys that came with the Folding cover.
Instant access to front or rear. It folds up in under a minute to give me 3/4 of the bed anytime I want it.
If I wish I can remove the whole thing in about five minutes. 4 Allen screws and two wires.

I keep small junk in a plastic crate in the bed at the front under the 'trunk' panel.
This setup is about as convenient as you can get.
Plus it is light weight, unlike the fiberglass tops. Between the fold-a-cover and the super easy tailgate my wife loves the truck. She can pop the cover or drop the gate with no work.

I have a Pace Edwards Jackrabbit and I love it. It is well sealed although I don't think it would prevent a theft if someone was determined.

Peragon has a lot of problems and from what I hear customer service is the worst.
