>You have got to be kidding me.....you have to go through all this crap just to complete the drive cycle and to reset the PCM?

Read your owners manual, there is a section in there about reseting the PCM (maybe not to the level as described on that link) when you unhook the battery. Can't remember the section, but it is in there and much simpler.

Hey Devin you ever get you emissions straightened out? I'm thinking of getting an Edge and I'll have to have the same test done once a year so I'm curous what the conclusion was.

BTW, where abouts are you in the Burgh, always keep an eye out for your truck and SteveFX but never seen either on the road.

hey scorpio...i have been driving around town hoping for the engine to reprogram itself. I'll have them check it out on monday and go from there. My problem was changing it back to stock the night before and not giving it time to reset.
Im actually outside pittsburgh..up in washington county. im always on the lookout for fellow fords
GO STEELERS!!!

Devin, that's good news, glad it worked out. I can remember my gf's dad having to drive around for two weeks to clear a CEL, what a mess. Since the Edge is 10% the cost of a Super Bowl ticket and you were able to pass emissions I'm gonna order one as soon as they are back in stock.

Harley owners don't have ears... Road rash lays claim to most of their body parts because:
1) They can't afford decent riding gear
2) They don't actually know HOW to ride anything with 2 wheels
3) Everyone knows that not bathing and having tatoos will protect you from anything and everything!

What do you get when you have 32 harley owners in the same room?

A full set of teeth.
